Dedicated NEC TFT Specialist distributor, Review Display Systems, has introduced a new format Industrial Grade TFT from the NEC range.

Ideal for automotive DVD and all broadcast applications the NL8048BC24-01 – 9in Wide-VGA TFT features a compact format design, with wide viewing angles, and a High Brightness and High Contrast Image.

The panel features a screen resolution of 800 X 480x RGB pixels combined with 400cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 500:1. Interface to the panel is via single port LVDS and it will support either 8bit or 6bit RGB data.

Field replaceable backlights make this an ideal choice for all applications with a long life requirement and the design is fully ROHS compliant. The panel also has NEC’s Industrial 2 year notification period in the event of the discontinuation allow users to commit to a design confident of its long term supply.

Review Display Systems can also offer a Driver Card kit for use with this display featuring VGA, DVI and video input.
