PoL DC/DC converter family offers a wider choice with addition of 10A and 16A SMT and SIP modules
The Okami range of non-isolated Point-of-Load (PoL) DC/DC power converters from Murata Power Solutions has been expanded with the addition of 10A and 16A models in both surface mount (SMT) and through-hole SIP formats. The new modules are fully compatible with DOSA specifications and support the latest generation FPGAs, ASICs and DSPs that require high load currents in low input voltage environments.
DC/DC Converter accepts up to 800VDC Input Voltage
The HVI 2K is a recent addition to Absopulse Electronics line of high input voltage DC/DC converters. This design uses field proven technology to generate 2kW output power. It accepts 600Vdc input voltage (450V to 800Vdc range) and is rated for a single output of 12V/130A, 24V/80A or 48V/40A. Other outputs are available on request. An optional built-in redundancy diode allows for parallel and N+1 operation. The HVI 2K is suitable for a wide range of rugged applications including in industrial plants, alternative energy conversion (such as solar cells) and electric vehicles.

Texas Instruments has introduced a 2.25-MHz DC/DC converter for USB-powered portable applications and wireless modems. The TPS62750 is a high-performance, 92 percent power-efficient, synchronous step-down converter, which can provide up to 1-A typical input current. The device supports an input voltage from 2.9 V to 6 V, allowing it to support batteries with an extended voltage range and USB-compliant power requirements.
SynQor Establishes Benchmark with Super-Wide 8:1 Input Range DC/DC Converters
SynQor's claims its IQ64 family of industry-standard half brick dc/dc converters establishes a new performance benchmark with a super-wide 8:1 input voltage range of 18-135V, which doubles the existing ultra-wide 4:1 input ratio standard.
