X-ES has today announced the release of the XCalibur4402, a 6U CompactPCI Single Board Computer supporting the 3rd generation Intel Core i7 processor. Available in conduction- or air-cooled versions, the XCalibur4402 utilizes the processor's dual- or quad-core technology with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology, making it an excellent COTS solution for military, communications, and industrial applications.
