Avalue Technology, an Associate member of the Intel® Embedded Alliance, a community of embedded developers and solution providers. Avalue is releasing a new Mini-ITX Motherboard computer, the EMX-PNV, which is powered by the Dual-Core Intel® Atom™ processor D510 and Intel® ICH8-M chipset. Based on 45nm process technology, the Intel® Atom™ processor D510 is part of the next generation of Intel® Atom™ processors, bringing the memory controllers and graphics cores on the same die as the CPU. This new two-chip solution will provide system builders with supports for slimmer housing designs.
Intel® Embedded Flexible Design gives Avalue the flexibility to also populate the EMX-PNV with other two Single-core members of the Intel® Atom™ processor family - the Intel® Atom™ processor N450 or the Intel® Atom™ processor D410, which offers advanced power management functionalities.
The EMX-PNV drives 400MHz graphics engine and enables highest resolution of 2048x1536 on VGA mode. Through a specially-made transferring module on board, EMX-PNV can support 48-bit LVDS output. EMX-PNV also supports 5.1+2-CH HD Audio, single channel 18-bit LVDS and VGA+LVDS multi-display. The I/O deployment includes 2 SATA/ SATA II, 4COM, 8 USB 2.0, 16-bit GPIO (8-in and 8-out) and optional built-in touch controller. Two Intel® Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and more expansion options with 1 PCI, 1 Mini PCIex1 slot and 1 CF. EMX-PNV with rich I/O and outstanding graphic abilities, it will be a great choice for digital signage and POS/Kiosk uses.
