Connector for small servo motors from ITT Cannon
A new addition to the standard range of Cm3 connectors has recently been launched by ITT Cannon. Connector for small servo motors
Designed as a replacement for two circular connectors, new Cm2 series high voltage connectors from ITT Cannon provide maximum power in a minimum size package and can be installed simply and at low cost. Press-Fit B19 connector from 3M
3M has launched the Metpak HSHM Press-Fit B19 connector. This is designed to give system designers working with VME and CompactPCI backplane systems a cost-effective path to higher speed serial input/output (I/O) protocols, such as PCI Express and RapidIO, without disruptive backplane redesign or needing a 'forklift' upgrade.
Industrial connector module from Harting has current rating of 70 A
A new insert module with a current rating of 70 A has been added to the Han-Modular range of industrial connectors from HARTING. The new Han 70 A module accommodates two power contacts with axial screw termination, and is rated for voltages of up to 1000 V at 70 A. Although this module has a high electrical power rating, it is only half the size of HARTING's existing 100 A module.
ITT’s Chip on Flex Filter Technology Withstands 1,000 Cycles of Thermal Shock and Vibration Testing
ITT Electronic Components, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of connectors, interconnects, and cable assemblies, has tested its Chip on Flex (CoF) filter connector technology to 1,000 cycles of thermal shock from -55°C to +125°C per MIL-STD-1344. Compared to the ceramic planar array block capacitor used in conventional filter connectors, the Cannon CoF connector utilizes a state-of-the-art flexible circuit where individual chip capacitors are surface mounted on a pad adjacent to the feed thru contact.

4 GHz Attenuators for WiMax, WiFi and WiBro
Coaxial Dynamics has announced the new broadband 6902-BNCF series of 2 Watt BNC attenuators rated from DC to 4 GHz, which includes WiMax, WiFi and WiBro testing applications. VSWR is 1.25:1 maximum through 4 GHz and the accuracy is +/- 0.3dB to 6dB, +/- 0.5dB to 20dB and +/- 0.75dB to 30dB. Standard dB values include 3, 6, 10, 20 and 30dB with others available on special order. All BNC models have bi-directional operation and other connector types are available. The length is 1.4 inches maximum. Volume discounts are available and deliveries are typically 2-4 weeks ARO with a list price of about $50 each for small quantity.
SIM card holder from Yamaichi is ultra-flat
Yamaichi is continuously extending its range of ultra-flat and extremely space-saving card connectors for Flash and SIM cards. After presenting the flattest connector for the micro SD card available on the world market only last spring, the second SIM card connector is now also available in Ultra Low Profile design and with a height of only 1.5 mm (FMS006-5000-0).
RJ45 jack with magnetic filter and LED light pipes
The Y-ConJack-31 is a new RJ45 connector jack for PCB with integrated magnetic filter, and LED light pipes for the function display. The jack is particularly suited to industrial applications such as industrial ethernet. The function principle of the integrated magnetic filter module definitely makes a decisive contribution to the signal conditioning, thanks to the galvanic separation (potential separation) and the additional components. Overlayed disruptions are thus effectively separated or faded out by the wanted signal. Current peaks, highly frequented overlays or electro smog can lead to malfunctions in the applications, particularly in an industrial environment.
Push-pull SMA-type connectors from Aerco

Tekdata claims breakthrough in medical interconnections
Tekdata Interconnect is claiming a breakthrough in the design and manufacturing of medical interconnections by developing a new set of medical connectors designed around a two-pin block as the core of a flexible and modular interconnect system. Operators can quickly configure connectors up to 48 channels "on the ward". The Stoke-on-Trent manufacturer is also using hygienically recyclable components, such as the moulded-bellows contact design of new connectors for conductive syringe needles used to perform invasive monitoring of internal bio-electrical signals.
