Gewiss are specialists in products for power distribution systems, and this range of connection solutions exemplify their reputation for ergonomics, build quality and design. The products include 2, 3 and 4 pole straight plugs and sockets, 90 degree surface mounting sockets, flush mounting inlet sockets, 10 degree receptacles and a horizontal socket outlet with isolating switch. All products are colour coded according to voltage, with yellow indicating 110V, blue 230V and red 400V.
They are available with power ratings of 16A and 32A, meet IP44 protection standards and are ideal for use in external and internal applications in environments, such as building site distribution systems, energy and service distribution terminal systems and terminal distribution boards. With housings moulded in high impact resistant nylon, these connectors feature contacts manufactured from solid brass and nickel plated for better corrosion resistance, with high resistance to atmospheric and chemical agents.
