FCT D-sub hoods from Quadrant

The extensive FKI range of plastic and metallised plastic D-type sub-miniature hoods from FCT are now available in the UK from Quadrant Connections. Available in sizes 1-5 (9 way to 50 way standard D-subs) the FKI range has a low profile design with the 9-way version measuring only 36mm in height. This makes them ideal for applications where space is limited.

An innovative snap-in lid locking system avoids the use of lid screws and provides simple, rapid and secure assembly while a screw fixing system provides stable cable clamping ideal for robust applications. The metallised versions provide excellent EMC shielding.

Suitable for all types of applications in the industrial, automation and telecommunication markets, the FKI range fits all D-sub connector variations including mixed layout and high density connectors and the use of UL 94V-0 material is ideal for low flammability applications.
