Economical heavy duty IP66 sealed thick wall die-cast enclosure
The latest addition to the extensive selection of die-cast enclosures from Hammond Electronics is the 1550Z family, a range of thick wall (3 to 4mm depending on size) IP66 sealed boxes for use in applications where impact protection and environmental sealing are primary requirements. The 18 industry-standard sizes in the family range from 50 x 45 x 30mm to 223 x 147 x 83mm, and as standard they are supplied in either natural with a smooth vibra-finish or in a tough black polyester powder coated finish. Economically priced, the units offer outstanding value for money, achieved by multi-impression tools and automated machining and finishing during manufacture.
Cabinet hinges from FDB - screw fit or snap-line
New from FDB Panel Fittings comes these 40mm long cast hinges with 180° capability and sealing capacity to IP65 with RH or LH operation. They will be of interest to specialist panel builders and installers of electrical or electronic cabinets where full door opening is required, either for maximum door clearance, e.g. for insertion of equipment – or for access to the rear of the door. They may be used on standalone enclosures/racks or on suite style side-by-side installations.

Rittal’s new Top Therm modular chiller range
Breaking the mould of typical industrial chillers the new Top Therm modular units from Rittal are integrated into a standard Rittal TS 8 enclosure system that can be stand alone or part of a suite of panels. Three modules, namely the hydraulic, cooling and electrical modules make up the system and the air intake can be changed depending on the application. Rittal Ri4Power switch-disconnector-fuse sections
The construction of Rittal Ri4Power switch-disconnector-fuse section is based on Rittal's Ri4Power well-known components. In the highest design version, an internal separation to installation Form 4b is achieved with complete side panel modules and bar covers. Depending on the number of cables to be connected, the new Rittal fused isolator sections can be provided in widths of 1000 and 1200 mm and offer connection spaces of approx. 300 or 500 mm in width.

High speed rod guide from FDB
FDB Panel Fittings announced availability of a new clip-on rod guide for flat rods. This quick push on guide fits to an M6 weld stud and then accepts a clip-in industry standard 14x3mm flat rod.
