Hand-Held Enclosures with Desk Stations

OKW has introduced four new versions of it's popular 'DATEC-CONTROL' hand-held enclosures. Typical applications will include data-collection units, measuring and control equipment, medical and wellness devices etc.

The new versions are supplied as a set with a size ‘XS’ or ‘S’ case and a separate desk station. Both parts are pre-fitted with six pole contacts strips. Once the case is located in the desk station, the contacts allow data transfer and charging between both units. The rear face of the case locates snugly into the station, thus giving an exceptionally balance and integrated look to the equipment.

The cases are moulded in off-white or black ABS (UL 94 HB), and have a stylish and ergonomic design which incorporates a circular head section for the displays. The external dimensions are 200 x 58 x 40 mm (size XS) and 228 x 72 x 47 mm (size S). The grip area is comfortably narrow for the user to operate the unit for long periods.

‘DATEC-CONTROL’ cases can be sealed up to IP 65, and are available with or without a large display window for mounting standard LCD graphics modules. All models offer battery compartment options for one or two 9V cells, or four 1.5V AA cells.

OKW can supply the ‘DATEC-CONTROL’ cases with additional holes for push-buttons, connectors and displays etc., plus silk-screen printed legends and logos, and EMC shielding. The cases can also be moulded or painted in alternative colours. Standard prices start at £10.
