State of the art Digital Pulse Compression Sub-Systems

News Release from: Rakon Limited
13 September 2011

Rakon offers a major breakthrough innovation: Radar pulse compression sub-systems with digital technology to replace in form, fit and function existing radars' Pulse Compression Sub-Systems.
Rakon's DPCSS is compatible in form, fit and function when upgrading existing compression radars that are usually SAW-based and enables remarkable increases in overall system performance.

State of the art Digital Pulse Compression Sub-SystemsThe technology offers a high instantaneous dynamic range, with side lobe level up to 5 dB higher than SAW alternatives and high accuracy angular measurements, ensuring superior stability and reproducibility. It also enables high flexibility through programmable parameters. Due to its unique design (mother board + daughter board), only the mother board has to be designed according to the interfaces in the radar where the DPCSS will be plugged in, which enables a low development cost. Tested according to MIL-STD-810G and compliant to MIL-STD-461E.

Rakon has more than 30 years of experience in the domain. Talk to the experts when you require the best PCSS radar technology available.
