Murata Power Solutions’ DATEL business unit signs up Astute Electronics as a distribution partner for UK and Ireland

Murata Power Solutions has announced its DATEL business unit has signed a distribution franchise agreement with Astute Electronics Limited for the supply of products to military and defence customers across the UK and Ireland. Under the agreement the products represented will include DATEL's data acquisition products and DC/DC converters.

Trevor Jennings, Sales Manager Europe, DATEL comments, “Our signing of Astute Electronics gives credit to their depth of close working relationships with defence and aerospace customers. Of note is their work with Thales that resulted in them receiving a bronze SC21 (Supply Chain 21st Century) award, the first distributor to hold such a status. The SC21 programme designed to increase the competitiveness of the Aerospace and Defence industry by raising the performance of its supply chain, and is an initiative that Astute have embraced.”
