Unwanted low frequency signals can now be suppressed with the new HP oscilloscope probe introduced by Multi-Contact. The Isoprobe III HP has a built in high-pass filter which can suppress low frequency signals by as much as 40 dB without distorting high frequencies. This allows engineers to identify more easily the high frequency transients in electronic circuits which can cause system failure.

WaveLink 25 GHz High Bandwidth Differential Probes
LeCroy Corporation today announced the launch of the WaveLink 25 GHz high bandwidth differential solder-in probe, the fastest probe currently available. This probe expands the recently (August 2009) introduced 13-20 GHz WaveLink probe line and is well-matched to LeCroy's WaveMaster 8 Zi oscilloscope product line, which includes bandwidths up to 30 GHz. Now, engineers who find it insufficient to use SMA cables to input signals directly into their oscilloscope can use a LeCroy WaveLink D2505 differential probe and a WaveMaster 825Zi oscilloscope to achieve 25 GHz of scope and probe bandwidth – an industry first.

Agilent Technologies - High-Voltage Differential Probes for Floating Signal Measurements
Agilent Technologies has introduced 25-MHz and 100-MHz, high-voltage differential probes. The N2790A and N2791A high-voltage differential probes allow conventional earth-grounded Agilent oscilloscopes to be used for floating signal measurements of up to 1,400 V of differential voltage and 1,000 V of common-mode voltage. Thanks to its high bandwidth and excellent input-impedance characteristics, the probe can accurately measure up to 3.5 nsec of fast transient edges in modern switching power supplies.
