Astrodyne Releases the Super MegaVerter

Astrodyne announces the expansion of RO line of AC/DC High Reliability/COTS MegaVerter series with the Super MegaVerter series. The Super MegaVerter Series accepts a Universal 85-265 Vac (47-440Hz) input, produces low voltage DC output in a full brick form factor (4.6" x 2.4" x0.5") and is designed for the most rigorous requirements of COTS and High-reliability industrial applications.
As with RO’s other standard products, the Super MegaVerter features -40°C to +100°C operation (-55°C optional), with no derating, un-paralleled thermal and shock and vibration performance, high efficiency (88%) and an MTBF of 1.5M hours.
Astrodyne’s RO products are known for their fixed frequency design module-based power conversion solutions, which are now a mainstay in military, industrial and other harsh environment markets. Construction features driving the higher performance of the new SMV-500 series include automated assembly, low capacitance Insulated Metal Substrate Technology, and our 4th Generation Planar Transformer Technology. Current products are deployed on airborne, shipboard and land vehicle applications, as well as a variety of industrial and medical products.
