Compact 200W AC/DC Power Supply for Medical Applications

Protek Power North America has announced the PM201 Series of 200W, medical, low-profile AC/DC switching power supplies, which offer a compact, performance packed design with full compliance to worldwide EN60101-1 medical safety standards. The PM201 Series have a universal 85-264VAC input and 22 models with single, dual, triple or flexible quad outputs, ranging from 3.3VDC to 48VDC. The compact package of 7" x 4" x 1.5" is ideal for the space critical designs of today's medical equipment.

An optional, integral cover and fan assembly allows for a full 200W of power from 0-50C, with derated output power up to 70C. The PM201 is also available in a U-channel version, capable of 100W of convection cooled power or 200W with 25CFM of moving air.

The PM201 Series features double fusing, necessary for European medical designs, comprehensive protection circuitry, power fail detect and remote inhibit. Single output models also have remote sense. High efficiency and high MTBF make the PM201 a perfect choice for critical applications.
