650W Power Supply With Medical Safety Approvals

Protek Power North America announces the PM650 Series of 650W AC/DC switching power supplies, which offer a performance packed design and compliance to worldwide EN60101-1 medical safety standards.

The PM650 Series have a power factor corrected universal input and single, dual and triple output models with versatile attributes of floating and adjustable output voltages. Either U-bracket or enclosed (with recessed internal fan) mechanical configurations are packaged in a 10.5” x 5” x 2.5” size. The optional, integral cover and fan assembly, or user supplied moving air, allows for a full 650W of power from 0-50C, with derated output power up to 70C.

The power supplies have both line and neutral fused in order to comply with European safety requirements. They also feature comprehensive protection circuitry including overvoltage, short circuit, and thermal protection. Status signaling including remote sense, remote inhibit and power fail detect are standard. Quality design/manufacturing, high efficiency and high MTBF make the PM650 Series a perfect choice for critical applications.
